Shannon McMullan is a Brooklyn based RYT-200 Vinyasa Teacher. She began her yoga journey in 2011 as a means to supplement her rigorous dance training, which led her to complete her 200-hour teacher training at Usha Veda Yoga. She has studied various practices that she weaves into her classes including Vinyasa, Roll Model Method, Laban Movement Analysis, and Bartenieff Fundamentals. Shannon believes that integrating anatomy and somatic techniques into a yoga practice provides students with a deeper sense of understanding of their physical bodies in space, in motion, and in stillness.
